Kelsey Marshall, M.A., is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist at the Ottawa Centre for Cognitive Therapy. With a warm and empathetic approach, Ms. Marshall works closely with her clients to create a safe and supportive environment where healing and growth can flourish. Her commitment to helping individuals, whether adolescents, or adults, drives her to guide them towards achieving their personal and mental health goals. Ms. Marshall’s belief in evidence-based therapy ensures her clients receive the most effective treatment for a wide range of concerns.
Experience and Approach
Ms. Kelsey Marshall earned her Honours Psychology degree from Carleton University before attending the University of Ottawa, where she conducted research in the Brain and Behaviour Laboratory. Her research focused on the long-term outcomes of personality and mental health factors in children and adolescents, leading her to complete her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. This strong foundation in research supports her clinical work today.
At Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services, Ms. Marshall gained valuable experience working with youth and young adults dealing with substance use. She also worked with children and their families at Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre, further refining her skills in supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
