Meagan Black, M.C.P, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Ms. Meagan Black is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She obtained her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Adler University in British Columbia. She is highly trained in CBT, having completed extensive graduate and postgraduate training in CBT and related “third wave” approaches (DBT, ACT). Before accepting a position here at OCCT, Ms. Black gained valuable experience at several clinics in the Toronto area. She has extensive knowledge in utilizing CBT to treat depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, family transitions (such as separation/divorce), and couples therapy. She works with adult clients of all ages and is supervised weekly by Dr. Michelle Collins as well as Drs. Arthur and Jane Blouin. Ms. Black’s interpersonal style is warm, lively, collaborative, educational, and supportive. In her spare time, Ms. Black enjoys watching movies, socializing with friends and family, and going on hikes with her dog. We are thrilled to have Ms. Black joining our team here at OCCT.
