Kelsey Marshall, M.A., Registered Psychotherapist (RP)

Following the completion of her Honours Psychology degree at Carleton University, Ms. Kelsey Marshall attended the University of Ottawa conducting research in the Brain and Behaviour Laboratory.  Her research focused on the longitudinal outcome of a wide range of personality and mental health factors in children and adolescents.  This research contributed to Ms. Marshall earning a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology.

While at Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services, Kelsey worked with youth and young adults struggling with substance abuse. She has experience providing psychotherapy to individuals struggling with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management and relationship difficulties.  Kelsey has also worked with children and their families at Crossroads Children Mental Health Centre. 

Kelsey has a warm, compassionate interpersonal style and works collaboratively with clients to meet their goals.  She is committed to Cognitive Therapy as a therapeutic modality that is based on scientific principles with substantial evidence supporting its effectiveness for treating a wide variety of psychological problems. She incorporates DBT, ACT and CBT-E where appropriate. 

Kelsey is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), working under the supervision of Dr. Jane Blouin, Dr. Arthur Blouin and Dr. Justin Massey. She works with children, adolescents and adults who are coping with depression, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, stress management and relationship challenges.

Kelsey was born and raised in Ottawa. When she is not working, she enjoys being at the cottage, playing soccer, and spending time with her family and friends.
